That's a million dollar question
Abusive relationships are like that 90% of the time. We as humans crave the attention of people for whom we love. It doesn't matter if the attention is negative, as long as it's on us. Its actually a habit that's dangerous, depending on our partners patience. And who knows all your pet peeves and dislikes?
